Tickets for the 2011 Big Ten Game will go on sale to the general public on Saturday, July 30 at 10 a.m. ET. As the first championship game hosted by the Big Ten, there is going to be a lot of attention on getting tickets to it. The big game is scheduled for a 8:17 p.m. ET kickoff on Saturday, December 3 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Being televised by FOX Sports, the 2011 Big Ten Championship Game will see the best team from the Legends Conference face off against the best team out of the Leaders Conferences. The winning team will be the Big Ten Champ and will represent the conference in a Bowl Game, either the Rose Bowl in Pasadena or the BCS Championship Game. You can buy tickets at the Lucas Oil Stadium Box Office, which will be open from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, July 30 for those looking to buy Big Ten Championship tickets for the 2011 contest. If you can’t make it on Saturday, you can stop by the box office during its regular hours from 9 – 5 Monday to Friday. Face value on Big Ten tickets range from $50 – $125. You can only buy a maximum of eight tickets to the game if you buy from the Lucas Oil Stadium box office. As an added treat, those that buy tickets for the 2011 game will get the chance to buy tickets for the 2012 contest at a future year.
